Only in Uganda; We’re not ready yet

For one month I have been gearing up for a much advertised food festival in Jinja. It was to begin today, the 9th of December, 2009 and run till the 13th.

I passed by in the morning and nothing was going on. So I went back at 4pm and found that people were being turned away from the gates. I went up to the gate, all excited to get it and was informed that they had not yet printed entry tickets and therefore no one could get in.

Only in Uganda.
